Default 70 GTO Convertible RamAir IV 4spd

Just came across this car online
When's the last time you heard those words all in one sentence ?
I believe it is the only Non-Judge Ram IV 4speed Convertible i have ever heard of .
Can't remember if this car has already been posted on here before, but it turned out i already did have a copy of its invoice from somewhere/sometime previous.

Anyone else know of any others ?

Proposed to have been 12 4spd Verts built Non-Judge, and 12 4spd Judges

Automatics were 13 total , off the shoulder i forget what the Non-Judge to Judge breakdown is.
But i only know of 1 Non-Judge in that department as well.
Anyone know of any others besides Dan Mc's White Automatic ?

This 4 speed car was a 2-owner car until 2015 when Ken Nagel bought it and had it restored.
Palomino Copper // Saddle Interior // Sandalwood Top

More story and pictures here -
https://kennagelclassiccars.com/1970...to-ram-air-iv/

Looks like he decided on a personal choice for the D98 Stripes.
Would have been 69 Swords in Black/Red/White
Even though the Invoice shows they were left off and credited , the Dealer may have applied them after the car was received.
And maybe even used the eyebrows ... it doesn't mention that.
But does say the original owner still had a picture of the car from the early 70's.

I would of chose the 69 stripes,,,I think they would of looked better. Its a beauty !!! . Splash guards on front wheel wells get stapled to the other side.

Yeh those lime eyebrows look kind of awful , I would have went stripe-less.
But that is one helluva GTO
No disrespect intended.

The color combo with whitewalls - i'd probably expect it to be a YS/Auto car from a distance.

Dan's Automatic IV 70 GTO Convertible is really camoflouged / plain-jane looking.
Auto on Column
White // Sandalwood Bench // Sandalwood Top

BVZ, Interesting that it doesn't have a wheel or tire option, so black painted wheels with dog dishes and G78-14 BW tires! Maybe the OO had the eyebrow stripes dealer installed if the D98 stripe was shown as a credit memo on the PHS. The OO must of had aftermarket wheels & tires ready to install as well since Rally II's and G70's weren't ordered.

BVZ, I must have been typing when you posted Dan's white RAIV Convert. I've never seen that one...very cool and 'fly's under the radar' looks too.

Yep

also
Dan's White car was dog dished with whitewalls , on top of the plain-jane'ism.
It would completely discombobulate a radar system

Yes

G78x14 WW FG

From a distance as built, i'd expect it to be a cloned Tempest Convertible
