Default Goodbye brother

My brother who was also my best friend passed away today at 6:25 pm after an 8 year battle with multiple myeloma.
He was 3 yrs and 4 months older then me, so at the age of 66
this is the first time I don’t have him in my life.
To be honest I don’t know why I’m even writing this,
but I just needed to say something.
He taught be how to drive standard shift and so much more.,
He let me take his 65 Malibu convertible, 327, 4 speed convertible, to high school., which made me think I was the coolest dude around.
The last few years when he had multiple health problems my sister and I plus some good friends were there with him every step of the way.
Goodbye big brother until we meet again,

Sorry for your loss. Have three older brothers, I can imagine you have many good times you can recall if not today but in months and years ahead.

My older brother taught me how to shoot and hunt. He gave me my first gun. His 1950 Pontiac with a 3 on a tree was the 2nd car I ever drove.

I lost him to a heart attack in 1993 (on my dad's 65th birthday), when he was 46 and I was 39.

I feel your loss.

It sounds like you had a special bond that not all brothers have unfortunately....for that you are so very lucky. I know the saying is cheesy but it makes good sense when you think about it.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

My condolences.

I lost my brother last year on 9/29. His birthday is on 8/20. So, this is his 1`st birthday since. That hurt more than my dad, grandparents, aunts, etc. He was the 1`st of my 4 brothers and 2 sisters to pass. He was 6 yrs younger than me. So, I can feel your pain. Stay strong, man.
