Default Vehicle reaction time

We Index race at a few tracks in the Mid-West. At 2 track our car can go red on a Pro Tree by a few thou.. Another track must have a longer rollout and our rt is .040-.050 . Looking for ideas to make up this rt.
Trans is PG with 1.80 1st gear, Rear gear is 4.30, front tire is 23.8" circ., Launch is 5500 rpm, converter lets us adj to 9.50 and 8.60 Index races which we race both all the time, sometimes back to back rounds. We launch without nitrous, but could.
Can go 1 size smaller front tire, 22.5 circ.( I figured only 3/8" less rollout) Don't think 4.56 rear would help, Don't know what 1.87 1st. gear would do. Could roll in deeper,But shallow is more accurate. Thanks in advance.

Probably meant diameter.
Is this a dragster?

I'd go with the smaller tire and see what the results would be.
Do you have ballast weights up front? ( a wheelie could help )

Take some weight out if so?

A higher launch RPM may help also?

Its possible to do it with front end travel limiter/chassis adjustments. If it picks the front tire up, getting it to jerk them out of the beams faster will do it. You may need a delay box (if you don't already have one) for the the tracks where you can already go red.

This is a door car. Front tire is M/T 3006, optional tire would be M/T 3005. No ballast on car. Could launch flat out at 5800 rpm.

If front comes up, it's only a few inches, Could make 4 link more aggressive I suppose. I'm not concerned about slowing rt on the other 2 tracks. Thanks

23.8= 12.01 rollout, 22.5= 11.65 rollout. .36= approx. 3/8"(.375)

Launching on the converter will help speed things up. If its picking up the tires even a few inches, you can improve RT, by making it happen faster (less body movement before tire movement)
