In '69 The Custom Trim Option did not include the deluxe steering wheel ,dual horns, deluxe wheel discs, or bright exterior moldings. These options were available individually or included in the "Décor Group''
The Custom Trim Option did include a molded trunk mat

Did it include wheel opening moldings? that's my real question.

Some option content was changed around March April '69 . I will dig a little deeper in my old factory material. My two "400" models have w/o moldings and custom trim. But not mentioned on PHS or original window stickers
My two are May/June production. I spoke to Mike Noun regarding this also.

As for 67 and 68, yes they include wheel opening moldings.

My documentation collection shows the following:

Custom Trim Option: buckets $78.99, Bench $110.59 (bench only available with decor custom interior option in 69), Leather buckets $199.05
Option consisted of:
Knit vinyl (or leather) seat upholstery
molded interior door skins
wood grain vinyl on dash cluster
grip handle on dash and doors
INNER bright roof rail trim (hardtop only)
molded trunk mat

The price and content of this package did not vary throughout the 5 different pricing periods of the 69 Firebird model run.

The decor group: $57.93 till dec 3 68, $62.14 as of dec 4th 68

consisted of:
Deluxe wheelcovers (the six spoke almost full wheelcover)
Deluxe three spoke soft touch steering wheel
Wheel opening moldings
Bright pedal trim

On dec 4 1968 dual horns were added to the option and the decor group price rose by the exact amount of the dual horn option, $4.21

On March 17th 1969 (the date that the Firebird standard equipment list was reduced) bright drip moldings were added to the decor group but surprisingly they didn't change the price.

Note that all Firebird 400's included the drip moldings (hence the price increase of the 400 package for hardtops after march 17th)

Also despite the TA option including a custom steering wheel (later the formula wheel) the decor group was not cheaper to order on a TA
