Default Pontiac emblem in place of "RTS radial tuned suspension"

This may be a rare "correct" emblem for some Trans Am models? either way, I like it. have 2, don't know if I like the black or the red better.

go's nicely with my custom speedhut gauges that I should have in and operational here pretty soon.

Looks great! The speedhut gauges look badass. Amazing how good they fit. I did the same thing to mine

RTS was standard in 1974 and was placed on the glove box. It may have been after 1975 that the change was made to center of the instrument panel.

Default darn

cats outta the bag.

was waiting to get shamed by the museum car guys for stating the emblem may be a rare emblem lol. just having some fun serious guys.

I made the emblem myself from this grandprix emblem I removed from a 1985 GrandPrix I owned when my son drove it to high school and had a wreck and the car was totaled.

thing is, it looks perfect. right size and right font.

Default It belongs there

I suspect there will be a shortage of grandprix emblems soon and a lot of RTS emblems being swapped! and dare I say...….even those without any emblem will soon have one as well lol.

Default Building the bezel.....

LOL! if I could have got it out of a cracker jack box I would have been happy. In fact, once I knew I wanted a Pontiac script there, I searched the net for a hot wheels plastic box or whatever. that's how I came across the actual grand prix emblem and realized I had one.

I had to build it some. you lose a bit of the top when cutting it off and the back of the casting is hollow so you have to fill it with epoxy and build the top and one side just a little bit.

my bezel was just to plain without it, I filled the blinker arrows as I wanted the built in blinkers and high beam in the speedometer. the red won out, my wife liked it better.

have a nice thanksgiving!

I like it!

Little custom touches like that really make the car your own.

Test fitting mine. Also from Speedhut. Looks like I will need to wrap the heater control too, you can tell that the swirls are a different size.

Talking dash bezels and SPEEDHUT gauges for that better-than-stock-look

Good job on the wrap! looks great and the gauges do to.

I have the original style heater controls cover also. yes the swirls are different but i'm going to live with it. maybe i'll try again but the control cover just to hard to wrap for the minor difference.

another option would be use a later style cover instead of the swirl cover. thought about even painting it black on mine.
