Default 71 455 ho part number

Looking for the correct part number for a dip stick 455 HO non AC car. Will this be a tough find? Thanks for any help.

I think this is the correct one, at least it's what I used on my 71 HO. The part number is listed in the ad. The seller is Ron Johnson, so he will know if it's what you want.

That's correct for factory no AC application, fits at least 7 years, had to grab a few while boneyarding last year. '66 & 67 no AC Oil Indicator Level RODS are different.

The dipstick tube for a HO with A/C is extremely difficult to come by. Are you only looking for the dipstick?

I realize that both the dipstick and tube are different for 1971 A and F body with A/C. Both very difficult to come by but I guess I was just trying to clarify exactly what he was looking for? I believe that the dipsticks had a problem with snapping due to the large oil indicator holes stamped into the stick.

Sorry, I just saw now that you are looking for one WITHOUT A/C. Just was not sure if you were looking for the tube OR the dipstick?
