I knew there was something wrong with that photo...It's got a '68 endura bumper.

Congrats! Nice car! The headlamps were hidden behind the emblem?

It also has a 68 rear bumper, trunk, tail lights (visible in other photos). I actually like the roof line of that car (not the targa top part), sort of like an Olds Cutlass supreme 70-72. Gives the car a ragtop with the top up look. For better or worse it was the trend of the 70's.

If this car went through the shark tank it would get destroyed!

Figured I'd mix it up with some new shoes. I wanted it to look stock so folks would do a double take.

I have to admit I like the thin line red or white wall tires on these "A' bodies.

Appreciate the comments. I tend to agree about narrow white or redlines. I was pretty specific with Diamondback about the redline on the 17s since there’s not much sidewall to work with. I think they came out great. Next up is a 1” lowering kit. It’s been relatively bone stock for so long, it was getting boring!

Now with UMI 1" lowering springs. Took a little finessing on the front springs to get them where I wanted.

Ken,

Very nice looking 68.

I just went through replacing rear coils, front coils, control arm bushing, ball joints and sway bar bushings and links.
Not an easy job doing the fronts. Sure wish I had a lift to make it a little easier when it came to torquing down the lower and upper control arms.
Hard to get at laying on the floor in the garage.

I will be post some before and after pictures here.....https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=841692
