I would love to have this. Picking it up would be a little iffy in Minneapolis. I can't imagine too many truckers wanting to jeopardize their equipment either.

This car has a very significant history. Look up the name Greg Murnane. It is also included in Pete's book.

E Stock running 9.13's in the 1/8th

That is about a 14.50 in the 1/4.

Not even as quick as I figured. Must have been a 4 barrel car as I would think a Tri-Power would be quicker. No wonder why the engine & tranny swap. Needed it to go 12's

Yeah, up until 5 minutes ago I thought it was a '66 until I noticed the rocker mouldings while I was checking out some differences between old and new current photos.

I also would like to know when this got an automatic because photos of it in '68 show it with a stick.

What year is the Mopar wagon to the left and what looks to be a Roadrunner to the right?

I just noticed this car ran Division 5. In 1967 Eddie Rezac was the Division 5 SS champ. Eddie helped me with the suspension on one of my cars.

The wagon is an early 70's era Plymouth. The B body a 68 or 69. The pick-up looks lots like my 64.

If that is the case then why doesn't it say 1968 record holder on the quarter panel? Those were always painted on prior to the start of the following season. In this case, it would have been painted on prior to the start of the 1969 season.

Well, I suppose that just proves things didn't always happen that way, doesn't it?

Most likely they were racing Heads Up
in the 1/4 mile
and 913 was the car number that the tower & timing crews used.

Its leaving way too hard and driver is leaning way too forward for a 14.50 car

Can't believe their building survived. But, it's on the St. Paul side of town. Right off the freeway. Only Black Lives Matter protesters to worry about. Make the deal with Gary/George and get it done.

Only black lives matter to deal with??? Is it safe there? He said it was. Love this car, but really concerned about picking it up. Would gladly pay to ship, but nobody is going to pick it up.

You don't have to be concerned about safety. I live in the inner city and things are back to normal. Shippers won't have an issue with picking up the car if you buy it.

Well if you're a real player it will be interesting to see where this goes and if you (or anybody) ends up with it. I still sense a shill bidder on this. Good luck.
