Default tri-power work with HEI and power brakes booster.

i am looking into switching from a quadrijet for a 65 tripower setup , my 65 lemans has a HEI and power brakes. i saw a post that stated you might be able to grind some material off the manifold and make it work. what about the HEI?
do not want to do if there are a lot of mods to be done.
i have an opportunity to purchase the tripower and am thinking it over.
thanks,
paul

You will be grinding on the carb body, carb base and the intake.

If it were my car I’d plan on switching to a smaller diameter distributor.

Yes, there is a guy who sells HEI distributors with a smaller cap and body. There are many low-cost, low-effort options to the large HEI body.
