Default Convertible rear trim for boot

Does the trim at the rear base of the top where the top boot slides into affix ? I assume you lower the top and there are screws that go through the trim into the pinch weld to secure it. Is this correct? Any idea what length or size these are?

Yes, The stainless pinch weld molding is held in place with small screws. There are 4-6 screws. They are very small in diameter maybe #6 or #8 and look like wood screws. They have a Phillips head with a taper under the head. They are VERY SHORT, maybe 1/4" long. This is from memory so there may be more than 6 screws.
