Default TIRE BALANCING

I am going to get some new redline tires mounted and balanced. They are the Wide Oval Radial Redlines G70/14. Was thinking of using the beads or gel instead of hammer on or stick on weights. Anyone done this? Any pro/cons I need to know. Thanks for any help. Jim

I had new tires mounted on my Rally II wheels and because of the NEW non lead weights the tire store couldn't put the trim rings back on. The weights were too big to clear the rings. They asked me what I wanted them to do. I told them to use the old weights over. Cut them if necessary. Heaven forbid one of my lead weights fall off and poison a duck.
