As a member of the GR-RRR8"R Wichita GTO club that hosted the GTOAA I can add a little to this.

The silver/ blue Judge is jawdropping beautiful in person, one of my favorites.

71 Judges--there was 1 gold car preregistered for Pop Vote but did not show.

The 69 CR RAIV car that sold has been in Wichita for several years. 2 brothers ran an auto repair shop downtown and had their 65's in a showroom toward the street. One day in the early 90's a guy walks in and says "I drive by here every day and see you are into GTO's, would you like to buy another one?" It was this Judge and the price was $10,000. I saw it shortly after that. Original paint car with some race stickers under the hood. Paperwork showed that it came from a Royal Pontiac but not THE Royal Pontiac. Don't remember where in the country that one was. A year or two later it was sold to the man who just sold it.

One of the 69 CR cars in Pop Vote was a 21,000 mile car from KC. Owner said he also has a 69 Crystal Turquise Judge.

The lucy blue 72 was/is Pat Browns car. Don't know if he found a buyer. Very nice car.

Tim, that Judge was very deserving of your Best Restored award. If you are trying to place me I'm the tall guy that greeted you and your friends out in trailer parking.

I hope everybody had as much fun as me!

First off, thanks for your hard work!

The "other" Royal was in Southern Cal, Hollywood I believe.

Could've been Portland In but that didn't happen until 1980 or 81. Was Ford Brothers Pontiac GMC before that.

Not relevant to this conversation but throwing it out for those of you that have other models and see the name float up with them.

Royal Pontiac in Hollywood CA. Saw the build sheet on the CR 58,000 IV judge back in 96.

Gary, That has to be the 70 RAIV auto car that Legendary Auto sold a couple of years ago. A great color combo for sure!
