I believe that is a 66 Tempest Sprint 2-door HT behind the 58 Chevy in this shot.

Nice shot Jeff, it brings back memories. My older brother had a 442 with that same ride height. By the time I started driving in the mid 70's we just jacked up the rear end and kept the front low.
That is a basic 66 sprint, 2-door sedan, plain wheels, no passenger side mirror, I bet it had manual brakes and steering, and a 3-speed manual trans. I like it. I would have really liked it back in the mid to late 70's. Now I am older and lazier and like at least power steering! LOL!!!!!

Cool 1967

Someone posted this over on yupuke and I thought I would bring over,
Looks to be an indoor "Gymnasium" car show sometime in '67 based on the Hood Tach on the LeMANS as well as the Buick in the background. Cool shot...

Said to be the most popular T-Bucket in the world.

I never had the models, 1/24 & remember the big 1/12th version?

I was a Hot-Wheels kid and still have the 1970 RB.

Funny how Daniels concept was designed with a German aircraft 6 cylinder and the models emulated that design but when full scale was built it used a NEW Pontiac 1968 250 OHC 6

Makes it doubly cool to me

I always thought the RB model was cool but didn't realize how cool until I actually owned a '66 Tempest with the same engine. Car is long gone but the engine still sits in the barn. Been sitting there since '84.

Default 1/24th scale Red Baron engine swap

I considered building one of the models with the OHC engine found in some of the early Firebird kits to recreate the full size version of the Red Baron but never persued that venture...

Jeff these are good pics to tell how many and where all the body bushings are. I counted 14 but I may have missed a few. It's a project down the road for me. Thanks for bringing the pics over.........your contributions are truly appreciated.
