I appreciate all of the responses and have been sharing them with Pat. He is in the process of cleaning up the car and when he gets it done I am going to try to get him to register on this site and take this over himself.

Pat asked me to ask if the underside of this car on ebay is "correct"? Were the bottoms of those cars red oxide?

That one looks glossy .
Norwood built cars were just a red oxide primer underneath , should be more of an eggshell or matte finish .

A fair number were undercoated black by dealerships as new
