Just saw this thread. I've been lookin for a car. You mentioned car transport. So, my question is: If I find a car I wanna buy, in the North Texas area, can you bring it to me here in North Louisiana, 71251 ?

The reason I'm asking is that several here have mentioned paying $1 per loaded mile, for car shipping. The quotes I've received are quite a bit more than that. I'm about 300 miles from Fort Worth. So, what would you charge to bring me a car from that area ?

I'd much rather pay a Pontiac guy than some shipping broker/hauler I don't know.

I usually try to combine shipments with my planned trips, but we can see what shakes out with your needs and my schedule. I've never charged over $1/mile. Most of the time it's less than that for hauling a car just because my expenses are only 1 way without and empty return. That said, the licensed guys are the way to go for more expense car hauls for insurance reasons.

Yes, every year.

This year I'm picking up a 8400 lb ramp truck in Muncie IN on they way to the track, so I can't transport a car all the way to Ohio. I can auto transport up to Muncie and have no limits on part hauling so long as they fit in the truck bed and maybe an area forward on my 36' trailer.
