I bought an AMD hood last weekend and it'll be going to the resto shop next week. I was able to drive to The Parts Place and inspect in person before purchase, wasn't really interested in shipping. I'll give feedback when I have it. Based on this thread and some fb posts, I don't expect any big surprises, but we shall see.

Yes, scoops are original. Hood was purchased from Dynacorn. The fender edges needed some work, but the scoops fit nicely. It is a little long by about 1/4 to 1/2".

Of course this was 10-12 years ago. Perhaps they re-tooled?
Are you positive your scoops are originals?

I'll jump on the, that is not correct bandwagon. Saw my hood today. After some work, which all repro parts need, the original scoops fit the AMD repro hood no issue.

Dyncorn hood and original hood scoops.

And yes, they are sitting up a little because I just placed them in there, they do fit correctly.
