Default 1965 oil pressure sender/transducer for factory gauges

Just picked up a 65 or 66 oil pressure sender/transducer for my factory gauges. How do I check the resistance. Was told it should be 30 ohms for a big car.

According to this page it's 31 ohms: http://phscollectorcarworld.blogspot...ntiac-oil.html Interestingly, that tech tip was written by our own board member MPKind.

'64-'66 B Bodies used a 31 ohm sender, all '65 and up A Bodies used a 93 ohm sender EXCEPT for the '64, which also used the 31 ohm.
