I currently have access to a dealer that has sold chevy, olds, pontiac. I am doing an inventory reduction on parts. How useful is the online parts id, and does it just look up pontiac #s. Thank you

I use it and it works great for Pontiac parts, but I don't know if it has any cross reference to other GM makes. You can enter a part number and find out what cars it fits or if you don't have the number but know the application, you can look it up by group number and figure out what you have.

They have a list of what the group numbers that you can review, so for instance you can find out what group number is used for intake manifolds, then search on that group number and find all the part numbers for intakes.
