Actually, your numbers are more in line with the "ideal times" using the calculator on Wallace Racing's website based on our 1/4 mile ET's.

http://www.wallaceracing.com/etcalc.php

Also, I've made a video of all my runs that day for anyone that has 5 minutes to kill... https://youtu.be/1i1TwcL28Mo

Same tune, same shift points. I just tweaked the shocks and tire pressure a little trying to get it to hook. The air got better throughout the day and the wind calmed down. I also took out everything that wasn't bolted down....and maybe a couple things that were!

Congrats!

I am trying do do the same with the Camaro/IA. Yesterday small test and tune track rental best I got was 10.44 @ 130.8 and only a 1.53 60ft. New convertor I thought would help a little higher flash but not there.

Freaking new Dodge Demon in the pits next to me low 9s @ 140+(and no cage or chute) and has freaking A/C!

You'll get there with some more track time and tuning. There should be a least a tenth to be had in the 60' which makes a bigger difference down track.

I'm a footbraker too. I don't get much air either. I think the footbrake and my 3.73 gears might have something to do with that.

You and Darby are giving me goals to shoot for.

Old convertor and a little better air 10.30s @ 132. Something in either convertor or trans just not getting the 60 ft as I'm not even spinning. Starting to lean towards trans as 3 different convertor have not made much difference. I'm just at a loss.

Don't remember how your car suspension etc is setup as, but when I started making more power, it leveled off until I stiffened things up.

Welding the subframe connectors in helped a lot quicker ET.

Welding a cross brace connecting the axles tubes and middle section added quicker ET also, surprisingly. Changing to ladder bars instead of leaf springs added quite a bit.

Narrowing rear subframe and rear end making it stiffer with a cage added even more quicker ET.
Fine tuning all the adjustments on chassis setup added quicker ET

No extra HP added.

What RPM are these converters flashing to? My old 10" would go to 4000 and my 60' was in the mid 1.50 range. A different 10" that goes to 5000 got me into the mid/high 1.40's. That was with my old 254/260 112 LSA cam. I still have the same converter in it now and it works well with my 266/272 110 LSA cam. Typical 60' on a good track in the heat is in the low 1.40's

Trying to tell on the data recorder form the graph what the actual flash is. When the car starts moving or at the top of the rapid slope. I think this new one is close to 5000. Some graphs. Slippage about 12-13%

Some strange things with trans intermittently. I'm leaning toward that as a potential issue. Rarely doing a burnout revs but tires do not spin, and rarely hit 2-3 and like it goes into neutral. It was built with a locked out governor(big spring like deal over the weights) to make it a manual shift. Starting in second it really does not like to even move easily. Not sure if burnouts is between 1&2 acting like a trans brake and in between gears. Other times perfect.
