How would the added ring gap affect oil consumption on a strictly street motor?

With those "flat top" pistons, care to guess what the c.r. would be with my 97cc chambered heads?

1969 GTO, 455ci, 230/236 Pontiac Dude's "Butcher Special" Comp hyd roller cam with Crower HIPPO solid roller lifters, Q-jet, Edelbrock P4B-QJ, Doug's headers, ported 6X-8 (97cc) heads, TKO600, 3.73 geared Eaton Tru-Trac 8.5", hydroboost, rear disc brakes......and my greatest mechanical feat....a new heater core.

David, I'm not an expert on the rings, but I did tell the builder that 95% of the time, it would be on the street and natrually aspirated, so I believe he was pretty moderate on the gapping. I had some 87 cc edelbrocks for this to run on pump gas, but had to sell them. I now have a set of 98cc 4x heads that I believe would be in the ballpark of 9.5: 1 with a thicker .041 head gasket for pump gas use. Hope this helps. - Adam
