It will also fit the rear diff of any 8.5" 10 bolt as long as 30-spline axles are used.

Looks to fit a ton of different GM 8.5 applications according to the Summit link.

191 rear axles.

23 front axles.

So it's not just a GM 4WD front diff.

Cool! Would 70 F body 12 bolt axles work?

I have the same carrier in my 2nd gen. I bought 30 spline axles from Moser for about 200 bucks.

Is there any difference to GM vs. BOP 8.5 10 bolts? Like how GM vs. BOP 8.2 10 bolts are different. Or is it ONE carrier style for ALL 8.5 10 bolts? (give or take gear sets, etc)

8.5 10 bolts are all the same. There isn't a BOP or Chevy specific type, all were GM corporate units.
