Window Fuzzy repair tip
I rebuilt my window guides for my 2nd gen Firebird. Bought a dollars worth of some fuzzy carpet, with a solid backing so the glue wouldn't soak through. Glued it on. Clamped it down.
It's kinda hard to tell, but the fuzzy that is mounted on the guide channel (the small one) I put small zip ties through the rivet holes that I sawed the rivets off of. I then tied them on opposite sides of the angled part of the guides to keep the carpet pulled tight in case it moves. I first glued the carpet down on the middle section of that guide. It laid nice and flat after clamping and drying.

WeldWood (?) Contact cement in a can. Then I clamped the carpet onto the brackets for about 3-4 hours. I put 3 or so coats of Contact Cement on them letting each coat dry for about 5 minutes. I used some flat wood under the clamps to spread the pressure.. On the fuzzy that is attched to the guide. the angle is such that the wire ties will never hit the glass. They are in the same place the original rivets were.

Yeah I was looking at that.. crazy money... Definitely try this first... I got carpet at a place that sells upholstery carpet.. It was pretty thin and folded well.. I was bummed as my glass was scratched.
I can recommend the ebay seller PS glass for replacement glass.. I got both side glass, blemished with a tiny pin prick on the back edge, untinted, for like $85.00 shipped.. In fact I'll send you some carpet. I got a strip about 3 inches across and about 6 feet long.. PLENTY!

If I recall, my fuzzies were simply glued on. I pulled them off and flipped them around to get some good fuzzy in contact with the window. I believe I glued them back on with 3m weather strip adhesive.
