Default What did you do to your GTO today??

All the other boards have them. Why not start ours?

Nothing today and won't be for awhile. Both the Goats are hibernating at least untill May. Really thinking of installing a super charger. Our Goats are not the king of the hill anymore with all the new muscle being over 400 hp gonna have to do something to stay on top lol. I just can't stand my buddies super charged Camaro getting my Goat at the track!

Last night I threw on a new P&P stock TB, really increased throttle response dramatically.

We should probably bump this up since I'm sure someone out there is working on their Goat!

I recently did new plugs, wires, and added some nice fiberglass sleeves to help with header heat. I have a new headunit on the way, a cluster trim gauge pod which needs to be fabricated, drilled/tapped GTO OFAC plate to add for my oil pressure sender, struts/shocks/springs/bushings/tie rod ends, and primary O2 sensors which all need to be installed! A little backlog...

Replaced the trunk struts on our test vehicle. Man, what a difference. The rear panel literally broke because of all the slamming!

We're reproducing these hood/trunk struts ourselves and will be dipping them in CF

Reprogrammed the shift light to a real rpm , had it at 5000 so I could see it light up without screaming around the neighborhood too fast.
Replacement Aeroforce gauge coming in today one went out after unplugging to program shift light. They look good in the SCSS gauge pod.
Cussing about how bad the clear is lifting and the paint those Aussies used!

Notice any difference with the Vararam? Might need a tune as well.

We really couldn't tell much difference. I was really surprised that there was not any change in the sound of induction like there was when I installed a RotoFab CAI on my 09 G8 GXP. That made such a difference that it also actually increased the exhaust note. We haven't considered a tune but may do so. We're having the headliner replaced next Tuesday. I've learned that this is a common issue on these cars, especially if they sit outside in high heat states like Florida, where this care spent the bulk of its life.
