Default Grand Am dash Cluster

Did the Grand Am ever make a column shift with a cluster with the PRNDSL in the speedometer?

I haven't seen a bench seat with the column shift instrument cluster in a 73 or 74 Grand Am. But, I have seen it in a 75 GA. Pics below. This one has 60/40 seats too. I also have pics of column shift, bench seat 75-77 Grand Prix's, and even 77 Can Ams, which also use that cluster of course. The cluster you are showing is from a 75-77, since it says Unleaded Fuel Only on the gas gauge, and has the blue kilometer per hour (kph) printed on the speedometer inside of the mph, both of which started in 75.

I personally like a column shift and 60/40 bench seat best, and might convert my 73 GA to them, so that's why I've collected pictures of them.

1975 only optional 60/40 bench. Buckets were standard 1973-75.

Rally gauges were standard in the Grand Am. That cluster is a 1975-77 GP base cluster.

Default Grand Am/ Grand Prix tach & gauges

Do you know what year or years: Grand am or Grand Prix these gauges would have come in as an extra cost option? Did the base model Grand Ams all come with full gauges except those cars all had a clock in the 1st circle, and then the tach was available to order at extra cost?

I remember seeing a few '73 or '74 and up Grand Prixs in the 1980s as used cars that had a big vacuum gauge in the first circle.

I think it said "fuel economy."

That tach cluster is 1976-77, based upon the unleaded fuel gauge, the colored volt gauge, and the 100 MPH speedometer. 1975 would have a uncolored voltage gauge, otherwise identical. The 1973-74 would have a 120 MPH speedometer, a fuel gauge sans unleaded fuel only, and a uncolored voltage gauge.

1975-77 GP's GA's Can Ams and 1977-79 Phoenix could have had the fuel economy gauge optioned.

Grand Am 73-74 (not sure of 75) had full gauges, radial tuned suspension and reclining buckets with lumbar adjustment STANDARD. These were optional on the Grand Prix.

Grand73Am this cluster would be a great addition to your collection. How would you like it for about $14.99 plus shipping.

I've already collected a couple of them. Thanks anyway.
