Default Heads and intake back from BES..pics

January 28th starts the Div 2 season in Orlando. Car in 100 pieces but heads just came in so it’s all going to back together now. Heads look good. Flow numbers 435@.900. Intake will be much better than last year and I will use a 1250 APD instead of the 1050. Ready to see how much it picks up.

Those changes will surely increase your MPH off the stop. What's your target improvement? Excited to hear the results.

Do you mount your vacuum pump on the drivers side cylinder head?

That sounds promising. Glad you got your stuff back in time Jimmy! Looks like you have a little bit to put it all back together. Good Luck in Orlando! Hope you start off your year just like last year!

Last year in Gainesville I was 151-152 off the stop. I’m anxious to see how much it picks up. And yes my vacuum pump mounts on drivers side.
Butler freshened up the short block and everything looked really good after running it one season. Bearings hardly showed any wear, reused the mains. Many thanks to the guys at Butler.

Question

The heads were 404 @.900 before if I remember correctly. Also not only was last years intake stock, it did not line up well.

I see that is with 55 degree seats. Would that be the same angle on the exhaust?

I could be wrong, but I assumed that those 2 exhaust numbers were both with pipe, but 2 different ports.
