I forgot to mention: in the still photos (at 1:39) and in the video (at 2:26) it shows the workers swinging the fenders into place on the final line. I was the supervisor in that corresponding area in the truck plant - as my first "real" job after graduating from GMI...

I did not see any mention of the 75th Anniversary book that was sent to every employee in the Roger Smith regime. Blue Binding Lettered in Gold. 1983 Auto Quarterly
. It has Wonderful pix and belongs in the library of every Pontiac Scholar ISBN: 0-915038-41-2
