Default A/C muffler and drier

Does anyone know the source for the muffler and drier on a mid 60's full size?

I have seen these the past 2 years on 2 different cars at Norwalk ad they look either refurbished or a factory look repop?

I am trying to locate factory looking parts to hook up my A/C on a 67 GP.

i have googled the part number with no luck.

Good question and I have the same for my 69 Executive. The factory compressor has been toast for several years and I figure it makes the most sense to replace all the major components and convert to R134a.

That's just a muffler--looks like someone put that yellow sticker on there after they peeled it off the receiver/drier which should be near the radiator. Notice the arrows don't actually point to anything. You wouldn't want desiccant that close to the compressor outlet anyway--too hot there.

Tap on it with a screwdriver and you should hear a ping like it's hollow.

You can just swish some solvent around in there to clean it out and reuse.

Does anyone have a used correct muffler, drier and connecting hoe(s) for a 67 .GP? I am not concerned about hose condition, mainly need the connections

i know what you are saying, hate those aftermarket or repop parts now available like mufflers or POA valves your after. Check Ebay, an original muffler is for sale for 67 and a complete AC evaporator box with the original POA valve attached. The POA valves can be rebuilt or refurbished. I also have 3 or so NOS driers.

Many thanks for the responses, I was able to locate correct factory reproductions at Old Air Products in Tampa, they were very helpful and even had the correct hose(s) and proper clamps. P/N# 12-0399M and 21-4213A
