Default Red 67 Firebird For Sale

Here are photos of a gorgeous red 67 Firebird Convertible up for sale that I saw yesterday. Black interior and top, with a 400 engine and automatic on the floor with console. The top was down in the photos but we think it too is in great condition. It's a 2nd owner car that looks like it's spent a lot of time garaged as we saw no rust on it at all in the photos.

The owner passed away and his wife now has it for sale. She too is not in good health so it's up for sale. If I had the money and a place to keep it I'd be grabbing it.

This is no joke, it's as real as can be. Here are 3 of the 5 photos. I was told the car is original, as it came from the factory, or as close to original as she knows. That's what I was told. I was not give a price... yet. I will find out asap, so bear with me.

And here are the last 2 that I have. If needed I'm sure we can get more.

Would be interested in price and mileage.

I'll get both as soon as I can. The lady that owns it works with my parts store buddy's wife at a school near me. He has to get her to find out from the owner. Maybe tomorrow but sooner if I can get the info.

I'm still waiting.... no school today so that just adds misery to the wait.

I'm going to ask if there's more photos to show too. To me the ones posted already are just a tease. I'd like you guys to see more of it.... if that's possible.

Ok, more info.

VIN #: 223677U18***
Yes I have the last three but will not give them out yet until an offer is made.

Actual Mileage: 68,171

Now for the not so good news. I found out this morning it's not the original paint. The 2nd owners did not like the original Baby Blue, as they call it, paint. They bought the car in 1999 and had it repainted the red that is on it now. So this negates the "original" part of what I was told. I apologize for giving the wrong idea that it is.

Price wanted is $50,000 or OBO. Seeing the car is not original, the lady was told she would not get that price. She could have if it was original paint on it. That said we figure an offer of $30,000 to 35,000 might do it. But any offer close to 30 might work. But that's only 2 of us coming up with that. We're still trying to get her phone number and where she lives to get more photos and a better look at the car.

Has anyone checked the drivetrain ID numbers? Is it original beyond the paint as initially presented?

That I have to find out. We're still trying to get her address to go look at the car. Seeing there is no school all this week it's very hard to get this info on where she lives. Monday we should have more..... I hope.

I will get the numbers and write them down, then post there here. You guys know more about the correct numbers than I do.

No word from the lady on the car. She won't answer any inquiries on it from anyone I know that's in touch with her. Not even my buddies girlfriend that works with her.

Sorry guys, but as far as I'm concerned I'm done with it. I tried but can't do what's needs to be done. And I'm not happy either. I tried.
