6-pack[/QUOTE Looking for a nos gear, the seal inside was shot and leaking transmission fluid inside the speedometer cable. they cant be taken apart and repaired. With a used one might be a leaker too.

All 8 lug rims are 14 inch OEM. Bigger sizes are aftermarket / custom.

Great, that answers my question. Now the big one, would you trade even the speedo gear for a good 8 lug rim? You ship your rim and I'll ship my gear. What do you think?

Speedometer gear would cost me about $100.00 /$60 for the rim and around $40 to ship. No thanks

No problem 8LUG. If you change your mind you know where I'm @. You might try Northwest Transmissions @ 937-442-2811, ask for Rich
Good luck

Default GEAR

First photo shows the gear that northwest has, Its all plastic. the guy said it pushes out of the case. Pushed mine out and the shaft is metal. Found a NOS gear this past week-end in Davisburg Mi. widetrackers swap meet $25.00. no more leaking. 2nd photo shows old unit and the box of the NOS unit. The replacement gear from Northwest was $40.00. I did well

I use Northwest quite a bit but there are no deals there. John, the owner, is a transmission technical wizard and always helps me out.
