1971 Lemans Sport Convertible
I have a 1971 Lemans Sport Convertible coming into the shop in the near future. The car is pretty well optioned out. I was wondering if anyone has any idea how many 400 4 speed 1971 Sport convertables were produced?

According to Fred Simmonds, 59 were built with the manual tranny, which also would include 3-speeds.

That is a rare puppy, more so than a GTO vert with that drivetrain. pics and more info are in order! Sounds like a great car.

It's coming in for a floor and some quarter work and to have the chassis restored. I'll post up build pics when it comes in.

Looks like the owner wants to sell it if anyone is interested.

Took you 7 years to do the body work?

Haha, the customer had some life threatening health issues a few years back so we stopped work and gave him over a year of free storage. He took the car home a couple years ago and just parked it. The chassis is done but it needs the quarters put on and fully assemble the car. He called me and said he wants to sell it so I told him I'd help him out.
