Default Repop '69 rear marker bezels

Any telltale sign (difference) that sticks out between a repop and an NOS? I did a search and could not come up with anything.

The repop looks quite nice, main difference is the red paint, factory paint is almost translucent (like the J or SJ on 69 GP fender emblems) dark red while the repopulated is a bright orange-red non translucent look.

Well I have a pair in boxes where the red appears to be correct, chrome quality appears to be correct but the top rib appears to be a tad deeper. I had a known NOS one but do not recall this and the used ones I have, that top rib is not as deep. Could there have been a slight design difference over time or perhaps due to another GM supplier?
