All the 69-70 GTO or Judge Ram3 engined cars (and Ram4) came with functional/operational scoops and pans.

175 is number of non-judge convertibles, with Ram3 and Manual transmission.

I've come across two low option 69 GTO Ram3 Verts with 3spd manual trans, years (decades) ago.
But never seen a 4.33 gear Ram3 Vert in person.

Really great car Ram4King.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Don, cool find...around '81 I bought a Vodoo green white/white/III/M20/3.55 from the original owner. He told me he walked into the dealer wanting a GTO 'Vert to tow his....sailboat.
They sold him the car stating it had the "towing package"

Like BVZ, I've never run across a 4.33 4sp vert III car. Looking forward to the "cleaned up" pics.

Thanks for the answer Baron Von Zeppelin. Just was wandering because I parted a 48 headed 400 , 4 spd , matador red convert w/ hood tach, matching numbers car. It was slid into a telephone pole sideways behind the drivers door.I used the parts for a judge I had all apart.About the only thing I got left of all that stuff is a 941 distributor.

Sorry if I'm mucking up your thread Ram 4 King, killer car you picked up . John

the 4.33s would have added a $2.11 "spec. order" option on top of the "HD rear" option.

Not arguing that ... but "thought" that was just with 4.33 - M40 auto cars - for the speedo calibrater/reduction gizmo.

Anyone have PHS examples handy ?

Moved it around today and put the correct wheels on it. They just need to be painted Crystal next. I think they look tuff now in black. I wish you could get poverty caps on a Judge. the car looks sinister that way.

Thanks for that Richard

Know its been covered in past, i get cloudy on some of these unique things.
But 3.90 would be spec ord on Ram3 - as would 4.33
So what would be PHS difference between them on Ram3 cars ?

Would a 4.33 still have a $2.11 over and above 3.90 spec ord on Ram3 ?

Sucks not having access to all my data's.
i know i have some 3.90 Ram3 car PHS's archived.

Thinking more about it, not only have never seen a Ram3 4.33 Vert, never seen a Hardtop Ram3 4.33 either.

Eric White's book show three different codes for axles.

362 G94 Axle, Special Order 2.11
364 G95 Axle, Economy 2.11
368 G90 Axle, Performance 2.11

Ram Air IV already came standard with performance axle so G94 (4.33) was the 2.11 upgrade.

All 4.33 cars I have seen with a PHS has a extra 2.11

Never seen a 2.11 twice maybe North who has more 1969 PHS's than anyone can comment

The Ram III cars got 3.55 ratio standard so the 2.11 special axle upgrade would cover 3.90 AND 4.33 ratios. You would need to have the buildsheet to verify which axle actually came with the car. Since Don has already found the axle stamping and if the date code matches I'd say it's a real 4.33 car.

Mike; I never saw your post until now. I'll PM you the details to avoid a thread hijack.

John

Now we're back on track.

But does anyone have a 3.90 gear Ram3 PHS on hand for reference ?

Would option code be #368 for 3.90 on Ram3 - and #362 be 4.33 on Ram3 ?

Or would they both be covered under #362 for Ram3 ?

BVZ, Tom Temple had a 70 RA III/4spd/4:33 convertible (blue if I remember correctly) a couple of years ago. Very cool car, but hard to drive on the DC beltway.

I have a 69 Canadian Black Judge Ram Air III 3.90 4 speed code 362 axle-sp-ord

Special order is above and beyond what you normally got with that model.

Reverse would be a standard axle of 3.55 and if you you ordered a 3.08 for economy, code 368, 2.11 extra.

Don:
Is that a Cassette tape adaptor for an 8-track laying on the floor next to the 8-track?

Haven't seen one of those in a loooong time!

Speaking of the shop - what's with the double yellow line down the middle of the floor? No-passing zone? Did you get a good deal on some used road asphalt? Was the shop built over an old street...What??
