That car was built about 200 units after my '71 Trans Am. They probably said "hello" in the storage lot outside the factory waiting to be shipped.
I always wondered if my car had JW or KN code rims being an early production September 1970 built car. The originals were thrown away and replaced with slotted mags in 1980. Apparently Norwood was already installing KNs. |

I was thinking this car was a late 70 built car it also has 70 on the taillights

All '70-'72 F-bodies have "70" on the tail light lenses. The '73 models are the only ones that have the "73" date on them.

Quarter panels, inner and outer wheel wells look good.
Rocker palnels look surprisingly good Floor pans front and rear need replacing Trunk pan needs replaced Window channel all the way around where the back glass is ate out Front sub frame is good Rear end is a 10 bolt and i can't find a tag on it. Should it be on a diff cover bolt ? Front fenders could be fixed with lower patch panels Front inner fenders look ok core support is rusted out I cant get the left door or trunk open Last edited by Chickenhawk; 09-07-2017 at 10:36 PM. |
