I believe motor and transmission mounts for a 1982 GP with turbo 350/400 and the Oldsmobile Diesel 350 are the same as a Pontiac motor. Norm

'78-81 265\301 powered Grand Prixs are your mount sources. Other than that just need to wire up the ignition and fuel source, all of which will likely be on the wrong side since they're for a Chevy motor and for a computer controlled carb, so lots of circuits not necessary.

Here’s what we are starting with, an 85 LE with the 305 Chevy, and metric 200 3spd.
This is hopefully going to be a nhra sportsman/8.0&12.50 index bracket car. I am using leftover parts from my LeMans where I can and low bucking it the best I can everywhere else. I believe I have gotten the correct G-body 301 mounts thanks to pics with part numbers shown on the site. So thank you for sharing your info. A lot of the other stuff will be a trial and error fit process.
I named him “Cousin Eddie”, because I could just imagine the look on my LeMans face when he looked out the garage window and saw the Grand Prix sitting in the yard was very similar to that of Clark’s when he realized Eddie had come to visit at Christmas

I put a pont 400/th350 in a 79 Buick Regal i had. It originally came with a 301/250 trans. I used the engine mounts from the 301 and it bolted right in. The accesory brackets from the 301 will not work with the 400, I found out the hard way. I used standard exhaust manifolds with modified 70 GTO front exhaust pipes, mufflers fit under rear seat area, and had custom tailpipes made to fit.
