1969 Judge Convertible color breakdown
Does anyone have a color breakdown of the 108 Judge convertibles for 69? I tried searching on here and the registry but couldn't find the info. Is this available anywhere? Thanks in advance.

Trust me, it’s not helpful—The color breakdown does not exist.

I assumed with PHS docs, most of the 69 Judge convertibles would have been found and accounted for by now.... at least a rough estimate on colors.
I agree its hard to get a true picture on the color breakdown. I know it searching I found a few sources saying there were 3 Matador Red convertibles produced. |

PHS cannot artfully go through every invoice to determine all the Judge ragtops. When a request comes, then they'll find another Judge ragtop.
There's a guy who runs a registry and hopefully this link shows all the ragtops listed so far. You'll notice Warwick Blue being one of the cars listed, and you'll notice that's a color not mentioned in the above list. Ditto Burgundy. Hence, I don't feel the above list is reliable. |

I doubt PHS would share the info if they had pulled all 108.

There are some of us that have kept track of these cars thru the years. One of the reasons I started the 69 judge registry was for this sole reason of getting a very ruff idea of the color breakdown/options as well to share this info with others who have the same passion. I am up to over 600 Judge HT and 29 Converts. If all of us guys who kept track of cars were to consolidate their info, we would certainly have a much bigger picture but this is tough to do. If anyone out there who is reading this and has info on a 69 Judge convert or H.T. I would love to hear from you about finding a way to get that info into the registry as 29 out of 108 is a good start. Here is current breakdown in the 69 Judge Registry:
Orange - 9 Starlight Black - 6 Matador Red - 3 Verdoro Green - 3 Mayfair Maze - 1 Limelight Green - 1 Expresso Brown - 1 Midnight Green - 1 Burgundy - 1 Cameo White - 1 Liberty Blue - 1 I have been told about a Crystal Turquoise car but have not been able to track it down The Warwick car I believe to not be real even thought I was told it was due to some information I received here lately I have been told about another Burgundy car but have not been able to confirm I have been told about another Cameo White car but have not been able to confirm Thanks, Tim

Like I indicated earlier, pulling all the invoices is a tough proposition when hundreds of thousand of cars were sold in a year, not to mention it entails having to keep an eye for 8,000 invoices to see if they had the Judge option. I am skeptical that's been done. |

Not, and wont be unless new technology allows. I found this to be true when reviewing my sd cars. Even though they where built and shipped on the same day from the same plant it was impossible to see if there had been any other duplicate twins produced. Data back then is not like today thus only basic info is available until someone or something can program it or profile it differently.

Text recognition software could quickly create a database of every cars date, options and colors etc. Three problems exist that I can imagine...
It would require printing 780,000 invoices from microfilm some of the original invoices are barely legible so it would be incomplete and full of errors without hand verification If I were PHS I'd be gun shy about an electronic database, one hack or even slip of a keystroke could make it all public domain. his business cease to exist that moment. Here is the color-trim of the 12 69 judge ragtops I have PHS for... R 2 67 R 2 58 T 2 68 A 2 58 A 1 58 A 2 58 B 2 52 T 2 58 Q 2 58 T 1 57 E 1 57 A 1 57

btw, in there are 4 auto's, 7 M20's (all 11 are RA) plus a RAIV with an M21. None have AC. All are normally optioned in the mid $4k range except the RAIV car (triple black with buckets) which had 22 options and a low $5k sticker price
