The black marker was used to block the dealer prices. This is an early PHS that Pontiac didn’t charge for.

Not to mention the gold interior but black on the PHS!

This may seem like a longshot but back in the 80's I bought for parts and options a 69 GTO hardtop on an Indian reservation in Page Arizona. next to it in the junkyard was a 69 CR judge. It was totaled and looked like it had been beat to death before it was totaled. I remember it distinctly because it was obviously a real judge (original paint and decals etc) and i was fascinated by two things... a 4 speed with AC, especially on a judge and secondly it had black california plates and original dealer plate frames (don't recall the dealer name but remember the town for some reason... Downey) from Los Angeles area. What was interesting is that the car was built in Arlington Texas but sold in California, never saw that before. It was optioned like a pattern car but with AC. I almost bought it (for $500) but I had no space on my trailer.

Maybe this car on eBay (or should I say just those tags) is that car I saw in Arizona all those years ago. All the options and colors match and how many AC 4speed CR and Black judges with pattern options were built in Texas but sold in Los Angeles?

I might have some pics of it somewhere, I'll check tonight
