Default 66 GTO AC comp and bracket interchange

The front aluminum bracket and compressor were missing on my car when I bought it. Rest of the system seems to be there. Need to start searching for these pieces, but need to know what other cars used the same stuff so I don't narrow my search too much. Bracket and compressor on my 65 Catalina looks similar but have not studied it in detail. Did full size cars uses same front bracket and compressor as GTO?

You want 9782661 front support, same for all V8 AC cars, 66 - 69. I have this one ready to install, $25 plus shipping. PM if interested. I'll get compressor info in a few minutes.

I also have the correct cast bracket that bolts to the head that the compressor pivots on.

MPC says compressor is the same 62 - 71 and maybe beyond that, MPC is a 1971 date.

The original compressor was an A-6. If you are not going concourse you might consider the S-6. It weighs half as much as the A-6 and other than the clutch face looks just like the A-6 and fits the stock brackets. I put one on my 67 after two A-6s failed.
