I thought I read arnie or another sd cat went 11.7s. Maybe in different class.

Arnie raced LOTS of Pontiacs. Don't know how quick he ever went in a legal Stocker. I think most of his big cars ran one of the early SS classes & B/FX. But I think I remember that he drove a car to Florida & won a NASCAR drag race. Can't remember the car or class. Think I also remember that he beat a M/T car for class @ Indy, but got a DQ for a cyl that measured slightly too big. Can't remember the class.

Here's the '62 that was running D/SA, in '69. 1st pic shows it running against a '69 GTO. So, I assume this MAY have been a car that was still racing in the early 70's.

Have no idea how long it continued to run.
