Default RA-4 valves installed on 6X-4 heads

I came across a set of RA-4 titanium intake valves and am thinking of putting them in a set of 6X-4, update the springs to .540 lift... need input in exhaust valves , porting work (gasket matched/RA-4) and building a nice 428

Thanks Tom

With the taller valves, you will need longer pushrods for the intakes.

I am glad that they are titanium intake valves (one piece) vs a factory RA-IV valve which is a two piece valve originally before welding and there have been cases where the head came off of the stem with Roller Cam Spring Pressures.

Jim Brady's engine being one example of this happening to a PY member.

Don't waste your time, as the tulip back side of the True RA4 type Intake valves will work against you in a running Factory D ported headed motor flow wise, plus a Titanium valve can not be run in cast iron valve guides if that's the case with your heads!
