Default 1969 T/A Conv. Clone

When I had posted my 1969 Firebird Drag project for sale a couple of people had asked about the Conv. in the corner. So here are some pics of that car, it is for sale.

Has a bored 400 with 2x4's turbo 400 runs and drives air needs a condenser and charged to work. Car has all new floors and panels. Motor and trans both completly rebuilt. Car needs a couple of small items to be finished.

23,500 FIRM

Thanks for looking,

Stan

Hello, I think the int. was completely replaced, it was just as it is when I had purchased it. I would doubt that it is even the original color.

Thanks, Stan

Hey Greg, most of the items are personal things that I would do. Besides hooking up the A/C, I don't care for the way the sits, the guy I bought it from used new leafs but I think that they were the inexpensive(cheap) kind, and the one has a slightly different arch than the other.

It needs a decent radio as he had an aftermarket in it. I personally would install a pair of subframe connectors in it, I do it on all of my f bodies.

Probably the biggest thing in my book is that the chrome cover that goes over the top of the windshield header is missing and the header has a small hole in it, yes I suppose you could just put the cover on it but I would repair it and then install the cover.

Also, it has a fiberglass repo hood on it, it fits better than most that I have seen but I think that with a little work it could be almost perfect.

I'm on vacation until Tuesday and then I will put it on the lift and get you some more detailed pics.

Thanks for looking, Stan

Is this the same car that was for sale at Mecums spring sale in Indy 2 years ago? The guy that had it for sale was from Indiana.

Hey Greg, I have owned this car for about 5 years and this is the first that it has been offered in that time. I purchased it from a fellow that owned his own body shop in Florida.

I really don't have much other info on the car other than what all he replaced on it.

P/S I just walked in the door, I will try and get some underside shots up in the next day or so, I have to move a truck project that I have on the lift.

Thanks Stan

A 2007 JCB 1CX loader/backhoe. I have a pending trade deal for a nice '65 Mustang Fastback.

Love your T/A clone.
