Great Grandfathers Model 94 This was a ranch rifle that spent a lot of time in the brush. It is my greatest heirloom and has enormous sentimental value. Was given to me by my Grandfather a.k.a. "Papa" when I was 15.

Just got some new hardware Monday. PLR-16. Technically a pistol, shoots 5.56, takes AR mags. Time to pimp it out Call of Duty style!

And some hardware I picked up several months ago. It's my "zombie" gun. Hi Point 995TS, 9mm carbine. I threw a $30 cheapie red dot sight on it, and it has been a very enjoyable shooter after I got some feed issues ironed out.

The pics aren't mine, but representative of what I have. The Hi Point is shown with stock iron sights.

Cheap fun! I would like an M1 Garand someday, and those aren't cheap.

So, not sure if this is my favorite yet, but picked up a Colt Competition 1911 9mm in stainless yesterday. Plan on putting a reflex red dot on top for accurate target and steel shooting.
I've been doing NRA Bullseye shooting and have made good progress in the short 3 months with my S&W Victory .22lr
  1. Pro-Marksman - Finished
  2. Marksman - FInished
  3. Marksman - Finished
  4. 1st Class Sharpshooter - Finished
  5. Expert Score 250/300 - halfway finished
  6. Distinguished Expert Score: 269/300 No chance; my old eyes

The 1911 competition is not an all out target gun, but has some nice features and 9mm allows me to step up into some of the steel type competitions which frankly seem more fun.

I have not purchased yet but I am sure tempted to get the Sig Sauer P320 modular. I like the option of just switching out trigger mechanism and going from a full barrel to a compact carry weapon. I am not big into handguns, just have a HiPoint 380 right now but the Sig seems like all I would ever need.

Favorite since I built it is my AR 9mm pistol. So much fun, cheap to shoot.

I have also enjoyed my latest 5.56 AR build, 16" barrel with free float keymod handguard.

I have red dot sights on both of them, not seen in the pic. The 5.56 runs a UTG red dot that co-witnesses the irons, and the 9mm runs a Tru-Glo red dot that co-witnesses with the Magpul flip up sights I now have on it.

Of course, it doesn't compare to my buddy's pimped out CZ Scorpion pistol. That gun is SEXY, and a dream to shoot.

My next stuff will have wood furniture. I am transitioning to older/repop classic military guns. I am looking at a repop STG-44 in 22LR for a fun gun.
