I understand all things take time, put it together when you want,
but it does look like a killer combo, be cool to see it running.

Like I said you offer lots of info, thanks!
V869tr6, If I actually run across the camshaft I will not ignore the info and I will post it for you. Deal?

During our conversation about the engine, i said something about how i was sure he had some "exotic" turbos, Marty laughed and said they were actually off of a city bus! I cant remember exactly what he told me they were but he said the were around $400 from any commercial turbo rebuilder. Goes to show that you can make good power without super expensive parts.

Turbos came from Tom Earheart, were diesel Turbos, and could very well have come off of a Diesel Bus.

Turbos were played with a bit as far as doing minor mods to the wheels but for the whole were as reported by Marty, "Off a bus".

Marty is not here to post but I can tell you that the boost control was done by simple means and was not using an "electronic boost controller".

(The Computer was a Haltech EFI unit from Australia (1996 time frame) and would be considered a dynosaur by today's computers like the latest Holley or Big Stuff3 units.)

A lot of people around here are having issues with Big Stuff 3 there reliability and service are not the greatest.

My one friend was showing me his Holley EFI system and it was very nice and easy to use.

I went the cheap way for now, blow thru, locked distributor. Low budget car still runs real good for what it is.
