I didn't realize they had Eagle St's back then. I Still have a full set of those on the OEM rally wheels for my Monza Spyder. I'll have to check the date code on them. I'm curious now how old they are. I think they had a pretty long run?

I was rockin' the Eagle ST's on my Y88 back in 1986.

Still remember the commercial: "You either have Goodyear Eagles, or you need them..."

I am guessing the Eagle Head on the ST's was an earlier design ?

Just looked at mine. the date is 121. So twelfth week of either 1981, or 1991 The ones I have do not have the eagle, just the letters. If the Eagle head was an early design Then mine must be 1991. Anybody know what design was first?

I remember my father being angry with me about going out & buying those tires - I had only had the car for a month or so at that point. I don't remember exactly why he was angry, just that he was.

He was probably pissed because you burned off the tires that were on it in less than a month!

There could be some truth in that Jeremy.

This was mine back in the late summer of 81. I miss it and the Recaro bucket seats I put into it. I have some photos of it the day I brought it home from the dealer but I can't remember where I stashed them.

This photo is after a repaint due to Anchor Mtr Frt painting their trailers with the paint shop's door open and the overspray got my car... twice. Buffed out once but the second time the body shop burnt the paint. I wasn't too happy. When they painted it I told them to leave the gray off the bottom.
