I'll tell you about the worst kind of wheel for safe driving...
The factory installed woodwheel on my GTO ragtop is so pristine you'd swear it was NOS (the car is a low mile garage kept puff but the original owner hated how hard the rim was so 95% of her 69,000 miles was done with a leather wrap. The wheel is so nice I'm afraid to really hold it as I drive giving the acidic oils eminating from human palms. I'll probably total the car one day to save the rim from wear!
