Ahh Ray, Lookin good. In the 2nd pic it looks like a small brake pedal and the shifter looks suspiciously manual trans to clear a bench seat. Is there a clutch pedal too? I also answered your PM

Good eye Bob. Its a Hurst autostick shifter behind a t350 reverse manual valve body. Would love to put stick in it. Maybe in a few seasons after i get the bugs out of it.

Great progress!!

Quick question: what is the bolt (that's going thru the frame, pointing down) doing / for?

275/60/15s No narrowing of rear. Mark Williams axles and spool. 15x8 weld truck wheels that are powder coated. Have to trim lip a little and might have to modify frame a bit. There is a 1/4 inch clearance on both sides.

Question required tire-to-wheel opening / frame clearance

Correct me if I am all wet here, but here's what I'm thinking: as the tire spins, it gets taller (right?) and the bottom of the tire (that is supporting the car) is what gets wider, but there's no obstruction there.

How much gap (at the top of the tire) is needed?

Great color combination. Good Luck with the completion. Get it out every chance you have.

Love what you have done to your car. I have a 61 Post car that I took off of the track and am now putting back on the street. I have a 472ci ( 455 ) Kaufman heads to keep the look of a SD. I hope to have mine back on the street by next year. I am planning on going to the POCI and I'm driving it there.

I lik it. You just don't see very many two door post '61s, and they look especially good in black.

Nice car, you are a lot further along than I am with my 62 post. My build is for Grand Touring ( road racing and street time. Suspension is now done and body work started.
