Its been said you never quit a job, but you instead quit the manager. I know i did.

IF they aren't providing you with the phone, then don't answer. Simple as that.

You're nuts for responding to work issues on your time off. Life is too short for that kind of nonsense. Your time off is your own, to decompress, relax, and spend it doing what YOU want to do. Turn off the phone when you clock out. Seriously.

Does not appear to be harassment, he is just a Richard and he probably has a little Richard.

Just an update. He was transferred to another store which he promptly crashed into the ground. lol His replacement is the polar opposite. Very people friendly, organized and takes care of business. The morale of the whole store went up, call outs are legit. My phone never rings on my day off now. The difference between a "reactor and a planner" is amazing!

Stuff gets stolen all the time, even in front of cameras and thieves don’t seem to care. Dont see how that’s on you.
Unfortunately supervisors think they have to be nasty to be good at their job, but it’s really the opposite.

Change your cell number and give you boss the land line number. If you don't have a land line.. get one.

Another option is get a Google Voice number. It's a separate phone number that you can link to your cell phone and is controlled through an app on your phone. You can make and receive calls and text using that number on your cell phone instead of your carrier number. You can turn on "do not disturb" for that number and all calls to it will go straight to voicemail. It's free and you can delete the number at any time.

I use it when I'm selling stuff so that I don't have to give out my real number.

Glad to hear it resolved itself. Occasionally the universe aligns.
