Default Location of engine designation on shaker?

Some of you guys might recall I'm resto modding a '73 TA. The hood and shaker are being repainted at this time. When it is completed I want to update the engine call out to reflect what is going under the hood. The new decal will show SD-496. Where should the location of this be on the shaker? An inch from the opening of the shaker?

Thanks in advance.

Jim
