I believe the sealer used on the floor plugs will differ in color, depending on the plant.
Baltimore and Fremont used the black sealer, while Pontiac used a tan sealer. I am not sure of the Kansas plant.
The screws used to secure them would be cad plated.

I thought I'd ask this before, but maybe not. The throttle cable bracket is not engine blue, we all agree, but what about the 2 intake bolts that hold it down??? Blue or not, installed and removed OR installed after???

Bill, these bolts were not mounted to the engine when the engine was painted, and therefor should be free of paint. I have seen bolts with the bolt heads marked in relief carrying the "TR", "L5", and "U" symbols, and there may be others.

mY BOLTS ARE OF THE TR (TIM ROBBINS) VARIETY. I seem to remember that is what TR stands for...Maybe not.
Anyway, last big piece on the puzzle. I was worried some about the hood fit since the hinges were restored, but I think the hood fit is better than before.. Hood pad and I'm done!

I discovered today I only put a pinch clamp on the PVC end of my vapor hose??? I don't remember why just the one. Is this correct OR should there be one on the F connector, as well?????????? bill

I don't recall seeing clamps on the PCV valve hose or the "F" connector hoses for any year, including '64.

I think the bolts holding the throttle cable bracket on would be natural finish, not painted blue. But would natural finish be plain steel, Lubrited (black), or plated?

The fuel lines all get clips. The Vacuum Control to Tee (11/32 x 6.5 in) hose gets the pinch clamp. I don't believe any other hoses get clamps, as these are all friction fit.

Dick:
I believe those two bolts are natural, ie, no other coatings. What I don't understand, is that for the most part, if uncoated, I have rarely seen any sign of rust on these bolts. If anything, a cad plated surface might have been present, and getting thin on those bolts I have reviewed. My plater does testing, and I will talk to them about these two bolts, as well as the two fire wall wire loom J hooks I have often wondered about.

Jake is right. There should be pinch clamps on the vacuum hose that goes from the rear of the front carb to the check valve and from the check valve to the "T" on the front of the manifold. That's a total of four pinch clamps on these two is vacuum lines. I've attached a picture showing three of the four pinch clamps used there. These pinch clamps are for 3/8" ID rubber hose, which is about 5/8" OD.

With power brakes, which your car does not have, the same-sized pinch clamps were also used on the vacuum line from the rear of the front carb to the metal line that leads to the brake booster. You often see the olive drab colored spring clamps on the section of vacuum hose that leads to the brake booster from that metal vacuum line.

If you need the pinch clamps for your Tripower vacuum linkage control or the tool to crimp them, I have both. Let me know.

Little item! Green washer slovent, not blue, cheap detail at Walmart

OK here goes. My MPC shows no clamps on the vent lines around the carb; 3X2 illustrations I looked at. Just the 4 above the fuel pump and the 2 before the fuel pump (5/16) primer colored ones.
MPC refers to them as 5/8 and 1/2 instead of the 3/8 and 5/16 ID as we refer to them.
There is a 9/16 clamp and it is BLACK. The PVC hose is larger than the 3/8 fuel hose,i.e., maybe that is where I got it from.
The 3786276 clamp is the olive green (3/8), 9770783 is the red primer (5/16) AND THE3786275 IS THE BLACK (9/16).
The one special pinch clamp the holds the vac tee in position to the bracket (I don't think its intent is to seal the hose to the tee) is 573239 and it states vac hose to bracket. bill

The tool I have for crimping the pinch clamps is from Auveco. It makes the top of the pinch clamp flat. I attached a picture of a factory pinch clamp (on an untouched '61 Tripower) and the top is round as you describe. I believe the clamps are the same, but the tool crimps them differently. I've seen many both ways--possibly a per plant variation?

Yes, the pinch clamp on the front of the manifold does hold the tee to the bracket. I checked my '61 Tripower and there are no other pinch clamps on the vacuum lines.

I thought that the green, fuel line clamps, and possibly black ones, as well as elsewhere on the vehicle, these pinch clamps, were originally embossed with an elongated diamond shape, horizontally, with a letter embossed in the middle. I thought the letter was a "C"
elongated, that stood for CORBIN, the maker. Other have said, it is a "U" on it's side as you look, anyone have a clue as to this.???

I also thought the fan clutch front fins, about a inch long around the perimeter going into the center ,were slightly angled, not straight? Also, the picture which shows a fan and clutch in an earlier thread (64ww?) was the A/C version, with the all flat( i.e. sans fins in front)? Just curious, am I wrong? thanks Larry Banks

You may be confusing the spring "clips" used on the fuel lines, and the pinch "clamp" (Vacuum Hose Connection Tee to Support Bracket Clamp) used to secure the Vacuum Control to Tee Hose. I believe the only reason this hose received a clamp was to secure it to the Support Bracket. The spring clips used on the fuel lines are marked with a diamond with a "U" in it. The pinch clamp requires a tool to tighten, and is marked with a 3 digit number and a triangle with the upper top removed, with a "C" inside the chopped off triangle. With that said, other vendors could have been involved. However, all of my clips and clamps in my collection are marked as described above.

I am not sure I understand your question on the fan clutch, so I have included a few pictures of what I believe is the fan clutch used on the 1964 GTO.
