Anybody know a good way to get yellow centerline paint off? I was washing the daily driver car, & found it has yellow paint sprayed all over the door. Obviously from a fresh coat of road line paint. IT seems pretty thick, Any thoughts? I hit it with the polisher & light cut compound. No luck.

Your local army surplus should have a flame thrower you can rent. Be careful not to torch the paint too long. You'll know when you've heated the paint long enough when it starts to run off. Just Kidding, Don't try this at home.

Believe it or not, high pressure soap at a do-it-yourself car wash will often work to get most all of it off. Then you can go back to using the Dupont wax and grease remover or more aggressive solvents as necessary.

Hold the wand at the same angle as you would a scraper and work the area slowly.

What I use the lacquer thinner and water for is removing the really stubborn bugs off the front of my truck before I enter it in a show.Used it yesterday as a matter of fact for the show coming up Saturday. Also works good when I get tar on the truck.Just get it off really quick and soak with water.
