Default -------------1966 Bonneville convertable for TRADE or sale.--------------------------

Hey guys

Looking to possibly trade my 66 bonnie convertable.

interested in:
firebirds up to 73 in equal value(can be a builder but must be drivable.)
HARDTOP coupe bonnies/catalina etc.. in equal condition.
or a 66 to 69 lemans or if im lucky a gto. in appropriate value.

if interested in a buy im asking 13000 or realistic OBO.
please look it over, i will be installing NEW top next week.

heres just a rough lowdown of what i did to the car... it isnt completely finished, but hell when are they EVER finished?

------ENGINE-------

-389 PONTIAC engine(from a 69 gto).

-Edelbrock 650 carb. new fuel filter.

-New powersteering pump.

-New water pump.

-New hoses and belts.

-Optima redtop battery.

-High torque performance starter(great for cold and hot startups)

-Aluminum griffin radiator installed with a huge Flex fan (runs VERY cool.)

-Exterior transmission cooler mounted in front of the aluminum radiator.

Turbo 400 transmission.

------PAINT-------

-Paint is about 4 years old in driver quality.. maybe a 7 out of 10.

Replaced metal in quarters and trunk. but still needs some metal here and there, the main areas have been addressed.

-Shaved door handles.. (poppers not installed yet. but comes with the car 50lb 6 channel remotes, soliniods, etc.. whole kit.)

-Shaved pontiac spear emblems and lettering.

-60s california Kustom style motif with lace painted dash.(she IS bonnie ya know, and Clyde likes her in lace)

-Brushed aluminum skull and crossbones in the rear(can be removed without compromising the paint)

or keep it if you like it.

-------CHROME/and BRIGHTWORK--------

one of the best things of this car is the chrome on the body.

-BRAND NEW rechromed front bumper!

-Rechromed REAR bumper! BOTH NOT INSTALLED BUT THERE THERE.

-Rechromed grille ovals.

-Excellent headlight trim bezels.

-lower body chrome wasnt redone and that is the only piece of chrome the car is missing to go all the way.. i just didnt favor it for this car so it wasnt a priority.

but if you want it you can still put it on there.

-CONCOURSE restoration condition taillights!! (i got lucky when i got these i found them in the back of an old pontiac dealership IN ORIGINAL BOXES!!)

I almost just saved these taillights for an even better nut and bolt original car.. but hell i have a ton of stories like this about this car.. haha

--------INTERIOR-----------

-Interior was redone almost 8 years ago by previous owner in black.. very presentable.

-New dashpad in black. NO CRACKS.

-Doorpanels are in presentable shape, needs arm rests and odds and ends but could be replaced. buy here: http://performanceyears.com

-Floor carpet in presentable shape. but original so its slightly faded.

-NEW bonneville dash COMPLETE.. perfect chrome, good woodgrain, almost show worthy.. (NOT INSTALLED but goes with car.)

even the "bonneville" in the glass resin above the glove box is not hazed over like most of these cars..

----SUSPENSION--------

KYB gas shocks all around with clamped coils for lowering.. if you want you can unclamp them to go back to stock height..

New bushings.. RIDES LIKE A SAILBOAT!.. ahahh.. very smooth.. very low..

----WHEELS AND TIRES-------

Astro Supreme wheels in 15X8s with pinner white wall tires BRAND NEW all around..

I have the centercaps but didnt put them on.. (was going to install bullet centercaps.. didnt get around to it)

Also comes with a complete set of 14inch pinner whites on stock steelies that go with the car.

----What the car needs to be finished?------ bads and needs of the car..

Theres still some small rust issues here and there being that parts for these cars are so few and far between.. but what IS there has been treated and neutralized for now.
mainly small rocker work and pinholes in the trunk(and i noticed theres someone selling trunks on Ebay, its been a WHILE since ive been looking are those legit?)

and i didnt like the lower rocker chrome so we painted them, but they are all there...
so please give me your opinion on how much i should offer her for!

thanks guys!!!!

I just saw it on Craigslist. Love the car, only car I've got that I'll let go is my 78 T/A. Probably wouldn't be trade worthy for you lol. What did you guys use to paint the satin on the GTO sitting next to it?

Hey!

we painted the GTO with Hotrod Flatz

as far as my Bonnie please guys dont thing i expect some crazy amount for the car, its not perfect but its as nice as it looks.

please feel free to shoot me over any offers!

and if anyone know of a 53-54 poncho or chevy i would love one of those!

ahaha!

i would love for a fellow poncho guy to have her.. i just dont trust these "hip hop" guys that keep coming around that want to buy her..

i was already offered my asking price.. but as soon as he said "im going to put 22s on that boy" i told him..

"sorry pal, breach of contract..."

..WHAT?

"yup.. didnt you read the fine print?"

....

"bye!"

i sail off into the sunset.. you know shes a boat right?

Yes, she's a boat....lol. I had a 66 Catalina many years ago and a pickup T-boned me in an intersection. Funny thing was the big bag truck was a crumpled toy compared to the catalina. Still, the Cat was totalled.

Believe me, I've been doing mental exercises to see if I could swing yours somehow, but I think right now its just impossible. Would love to have her though.
